# Sonus Sonus is a C++23 audio playback library built on miniaudio. It provides a small thread-safe engine for sound file playback and generated metronome clicks, with `std::expected`-based error reporting through Modulus. Sonus keeps miniaudio out of public headers and is intended for embedded Linux applications where startup cost, predictable ownership, and low callback overhead matter. ## Build Configure, build, and test the default target: ```sh python3 modulus.py configure python3 modulus.py build python3 modulus.py test ``` Create packages: ```sh python3 modulus.py package --all ``` ## License Sonus is released under the MIT License.
